    Yamal scored twice against France to further improve his international standing after assisting Spain in winning the 2024 European Championship around a year ago.

     Many supporters see him as a top candidate for the 2025 Ballon d'Or because of his performance, which follows an incredible season with Barcelona.

     The 18-year-old's abrupt change of his Instagram profile photo, which may allude to his Ballon d'Or aspirations, has added to the rumors.

    The Spanish celebrity also changed his Instagram profile photo to one that showed him and his younger brother Keyne at the Ballon d'Or ceremony the previous year. 

    Yamal went to the ceremony to support a number of his Spanish colleagues who were receiving awards, even though he wasn't anticipated to win at the time. 

    Nevertheless, he was recognized for winning the Kopa Trophy, which is awarded to the finest U21 player. 

    The Barcelona winger was the only member of the team to place in the top 30 and ended eighth overall in the Ballon d'Or rankings.

    He is a serious candidate for the Ballon d'Or based just on those statistics, and his case will be strengthened if he leads Spain to Nations League success.

    However, Rafinha and Ousmane Dembélé are presently thought to be the front-runners, and the race is very fierce.

    Dembélé was crucial to PSG's treble-winning season under Luis Enrique, while Rafinha just finished his greatest season to date.
